A marvelous opportunity has arisen for a talented consultant in the acoustics sector. My client a global engineering management and development consultancy. Who are currently involved in some of the most interesting projects around the world. Require a suitably qualified and experienced principle Acoustic Engineer to join their special services team based in Croydon.
Salary up to £55,000

Qualification – Degree/MSc Acoustic and Noise Control/Audio Acoustics/Audio and Sound Technology
Experience:

Substantial Acoustics experience.
Member of Institute of Acoustics or knowledge and experience of noise and vibration consultancy.
Proven technical ability in terms of problem solving and analytical thinking
Ability to manage time, resources and projects effectively

Duties:

The focus of the work is on transportation projects, although collaboration with other related disciplines such as building and infrastructure and energy frequently takes place.
Typical projects include large scale noise mapping, transportation related noise assessments, noise impact assessments for planning applications and noise assessments for EIAs. For candidates with appropriate experience, there is also the opportunity to be involved with building acoustics related projects.

Typical projects

Working as a Team on a variety of small and major projects, working in close association with other engineering and environmental disciplines.

Our client, a global force in Household, Health and Personal Care, is looking to recruit a Product Safety Toxicologist to provide support in mammalian toxicology and risk assessment, and their impact across household product categories. The position will involve all safety aspects of consumer products, including classification, labelling and compliance requirements.

Requirments:
· You will ideally have an Msc or PhD in Toxicology or a related discipline.
· Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/process environment, ideally FMCG, is desirable but not essential.
· Strong communication skills are paramount, as you will be liaising with internal and external contacts, to ensure agreed timescales are met.

Due to the ongoing growth and success of a well respected independent Healthcare Communications Agency based in London has the opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team. The company have a strong team of 35 people and are steadily increasing in size. They specialise in publication planning, congress management and brand / corporate materials. You will directly liaise with clients on all key accounts to ensure their continued profitability.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering revenues between £500,000 and £1,000,000 per annum. You will actively be involved in the development of new business gaining new clients, and organic business growth within your existing designated accounts. You will manage 2 Account Executives and enjoy travelling to conferences and events where appropriate.

Suitable candidates for the Account Manager position will ideally have at least two years experience gained from within a Medical Communications Agency or pharmaceutical industry and a good scientific background. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills and flexibility as you will be liaising with clients and external parties at all levels. Experience of strategic publication planning would be a distinct advantage.
