Medical Writer – Medical Communications – West Sussex

As a Medical Writer you will be involved in writing up conferences and advisory boards, working with researchers on primary research publications, commissioning and editing material for publications and write articles for in house journals. .

In order to be considered for this role you will ideally have a strong science background with a life science degree. Experience within a Medical Communications Agency is not essential however candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical and publishing sector will have a clear advantage. You will also be a team player and have good communication skills.

This company has been established for a number of years and specialises in manufacturing and supplying Bio-Decontamination solutions to the Scientific and Healthcare industry. This rapidly growing organisation now has a requirement for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team in Hampshire.

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for all issues relating to product and process quality within the company. You will act as a catalyst in driving quality improvement initiatives forward whilst ensuring compliance to relevant quality standards.

Other duties within this role will include:
-Gaining full compliance and accreditation to ISO 13485 standards within the manufacturing department
-Building an effective and motivated quality team within process control, inspection and quality assurance engineering
-Reviewing current quality metric suite and ensuring all key business issues are appropriately reported and managed
-Reviewing the structure and function of current quality management systems and proposing improvements to address training and continuous development

The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent) in a engineering discipline, and have previous Quality Assurance Management experience within a medical device manufacturing environment. Experience of working in Regulatory Affairs is highly desirable but not essential for this role.

This rapidly expanding organisation specialises in developing, manufacturing and supplying fertility diagnostic products for the healthcare market. Although this company has not been established for long, they have already become a market leader within the medical device sector and are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the team in Bedfordshire.

As the Regulatory Affairs Specialist you will be responsible for providing regulatory support for the international distribution of the Diagnostic products.

Duties within this role will include:
-Processing regulatory enquiries from distribution companies and providing responses as required, including the acquisition of Certificates of Free Sale, and other legalised documents as required
-Preparing and maintaining marketing authorisation applications on a worldwide basis
-Maintaining the notifications to the EU Competent Authorities for CE marked products under (98/79/EC) and (93/42/EC) medical device directive
-Making and maintaining the required establishment registration and list applications to US FDA
-Reviewing all associated documentation

The suitable candidate will ideally be educated to a Degree level (or equivalent) within a Chemical/Biological discipline and have relevant experience of working within a Regulatory Affairs or Quality Assurance position within a medical device organisation. A strong understanding of ISO 13485, GMP and FDA standards is essential for this role.

Due to the ongoing growth and success of a well respected independent Healthcare Communications Agency based in London has the opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team. The company have a strong team of 35 people and are steadily increasing in size. They specialise in publication planning, congress management and brand / corporate materials. You will directly liaise with clients on all key accounts to ensure their continued profitability.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering revenues between £500,000 and £1,000,000 per annum. You will actively be involved in the development of new business gaining new clients, and organic business growth within your existing designated accounts.
